Celebrating women in property: Industry leaders shaping the future of multi-residential

Sonia Taskovska: Founder and Managing Director, Soliana

Sonia Taskovska founded Soliana with a vision to create residential developments that balance luxury with practicality, drawing inspiration from her own experience designing homes for modern family living.

Over the past year, she says bringing Soliana’s Brighton project, Pearl, close to completion has been a proud moment.

“It’s a boutique collection of homes that reflect the philosophy I bring to development, that every detail matters, from architecture through to how the home feels to live in,” Sonia said to A&D.

For Sonia, development has always been about more than the numbers.

“At the end of the day, we’re not just developing buildings, we’re shaping the places people call home,” she said.

“As a female developer in what has traditionally been a male-dominant industry, I’m also proud to be contributing a perspective that values commercial rigour and the lived experience of the buyer.”

Looking ahead, she believes the future of multi-residential development lies in thoughtful, human-centred design.

“Multi-residential development is no longer just about density, it’s about creating environments that genuinely enhance people’s quality of life,” she explains.

“The future will belong to developers who prioritise quality, thoughtful design, and long-term value.”
