Seeking the Right Foundation: Sonia's Journey to Macedonia

At Soliana, our mission extends beyond creating exceptional spaces—we are deeply committed to fostering communities and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This ethos is at the heart of the Soliana Foundation, which is dedicated to aiding orphaned and vulnerable children in developing countries. Recently, our founder, Sonia, embarked on a self-funded journey to Macedonia, determined to find the right foundation to support, ensuring that our contributions would have the most significant impact.

Sonia’s trip was more than just an exploration—it was a heartfelt mission to connect with organisations that truly align with Soliana’s values of care, integrity, and genuine support. After thorough research and on-the-ground discussions, she identified SOS Children’s Village which offers a nurturing home environment for orphans or children who cannot live with their biological families. This village is made up of family houses accommodating children, along with caregivers, SOS mothers and aunts, that foster a sense of stability and belonging to these children.

At Soliana, we are continually inspired by the idea of creating sanctuaries — not just through our developments but also by fostering a spiritual and social circle of benefits. Through the Soliana Foundation, we turn this inspiration into action, ensuring that every project we undertake leaves a tangible, positive mark on the world and the residents fortune to be living in our homes know they are helping those less fortune.
